雅思 写作TASK TWO 主要为Expository Writing (论说文)，根据不同题目，又可分为Discussion 和Argumentation两种类型。现就如何区分这两种类型说明如下：
一、Discussion型
Discussion型主要目的是提供事实和信息或提出问题和阐述解决问题的方法 。
二、 Argumentation型
Argumentation型主要目的是提出并论证一个观点或假设，或者陈述及评估反方观点，论据等。
举例说明：
Task: Many people believe that birth control will solve the problems of overpopulation and poverty in the world.

经过分析，大家可以看出，a 属于Argumentation ，而b属于Discussion.
