On the way to the classroom, beautiful scenery went in my sight. Both sides of the road stood plenty of trees, green and tall. When raising my head, I got a view of many lovely birds flying freely in the blue sky. Then I was lost in thought.
How much I wished I were a bird, which could go wherever it wanted and do whatever it liked. Impossible as it was, I still felt very happy, for I was a man who had the ability to imagine and enjoyed the happiness it brought!
As I walked on slowly, a bright simile bloomed on my face.

Chance
Every now and then, people complain they just miss the chance again and again. They may feel depressed for a long time, thinking luck will never bless them.
However, as a matter of fact, chances just exist around us. It”s no use waiting for the next chance or regretting having missed a chance. It is not whether there still are chances for you but your being ready for the chances which are on the way that really matters. Therefore, we should make full use of time. Only in this way can we keep calm when facing difficulties. And then we can catch the chance and enjoy the happiness it brings.

Today is Friday. It”s fine today. Good weather!
Matt”s class was in the morning. It was a little more interesting. We talked about American football. First Matt showed us a magazine about his high school”s football team and other information on football matches. Then he let us watch a movie called “Friday Night Lights”. That was the name because high schools have football matches only on Friday nights. He also told us other things about football. I don”t like American football because it is too violent. However, I like the movie.
I find that it”s getting more and more difficult to write a diary, a 100-qord diary!

July 24th Sunday
At weekends we have no lessons, but we have many interesting activities.

On Sunday we had singing contest. I am one of the contesants. My song”s name is One Love. It”s a song of Blue, a British music group. I went into the “Final Seven”. But other contestants were really excellent. I didn”t get any prizes. Another contestant from our class called Candy was the third-place winner. Congratulations to her! Though I didn”t get prizes, I was very happy. I tried my best.

Two years ago, my father asked me if I wanted to be a doctor when I grew up. I said No at once because I didn”t like this job at all. But now, I change my mind. A month ago I went to see the doctor. I found that many doctors weren”t careful enough to look over the patients. They liked to give the patients the most expensive medicine. I was very angry. So I make up my mind to be a doctor in the future. Doing this is very rewarding because it can help save people”s lives and make people healthy. My grandma died of cancer. I want to heal people who have cancer. Now we have no ideas and no good medicine to heal those people. Cancer makes many people lose their lives, makes their relatives cry hard and spends much money. So I will work hard from now on. I wish I could work out this difficult problem with other friends.

One day, a lovely rabbit went to the beautiful forest. Suddenly a wolf jumped out of the forest and told the rabbit: “Hello, my dear, my love. I love you forever. Can you marry me?” The wolf gave her a big beautiful flower which smelled really good. The rabbit thought for a while then she told the wolf: “OK, no problem, but I want something else, can you give me?” “Of course, if you marry me, I will give you what you want,” the wolf thought, “Hmm, if you marry me I will eat you, so foolish!” The rabbit said: “First I want a big ice; secondly, I want a big treat; thirdly, I want a big mirror. Then I will marry you.” The wolf went to look for a big ice, he climbed a tall mountain, but when he carried some ice with his mouth, the ice is beginning to melt. He did many times, finally he failed so he died.

My Hometown
My hometown is very big. I am going to show you around my hometown.
First, here is my house. I live in a small house, we have a garden. My mother grows vegetables and flowers in the garden.

Outside the garden the garden is a bus stop. It takes about twenty minutes to get to the nearest town. There are lots of buildings there. There is a shopping mall, a youth center and a cinema. There is also a park near the center of the town. My favorite place is the youth center. I often go there with my friends after school. There are lots of things to do there and I am always busy.
I like going into town on my bicycle. The town is near the sea. I sometimes go swimming in summer when it”s warm and sunny. There is not much pollution in the town because cars cannot go into the center of the town.
I have lots of friends here: I think it”s a wonderful place to live in. I hope you can come and visit it soon.
