名著译文赏析《论语》第十五章 卫灵公篇（26）
子曰：“吾猶及史之闕文也，有馬者借人乘之。今亡矣夫！”
The Master said， “Even in my early days， a historiographer would leave a blank in his text， and he who had a horse would lend him to another to ride. Now， alas！ there are no such things.”
【原文】
子曰：“吾犹及史之阙文也①，有马者借人乘之。今亡矣夫②。”
【今译】
孔子说：“我还能赶上见到史书上存在疑问而空缺的地方。有马的人，借给别人骑坐，现在没有这种人了。”
【注释】
①史：史书。阙文：文章中存疑而空缺的地方。阙：同“缺”。
②亡：同“无”。
【评点】
此章的大致意思是感叹当世人心不如古时敦厚。朱熹《集注》引胡氏说，云：“此章义疑，不可强解。”
