Hillary M. A final depiction of false impressions derived from image occurred in my own personal experience with a school play.As a member of my school's drama club,I shared the task of putting on the spring musical.My job was to scout talented,outgoing kids as possible actors and actresses.An acquaintance of mine,Derrick,was a soft-spoken basketball player who mostly kept to himself.Because of his quiet demeanor and jock reputation,I assumed Derrick would not be interested in the play and did not bother inviting him to the auditions. However, I was incredibly surprised when he attended anyway and gave a fantastic audition showcasing theatrical abilities no one knew he had. From that experience, I learned the meaning of the old proverb "You can't judge a book by its cover."
