高中英语作文：The Biggest Failure in My Life
To speak honestly. I had always been a top student before the senior high school entrance examination,and that's why my parents and teachers expected me to enter a well-known school. Unfortunately, life isn't a journey without any zigzags.
　　I did very well in the math and Chinese examinations and it seemed that final victory was near at hand when I took the English exam full of confidence. The questions were easy. so I answered them carelessly. As English is my favorite subject. I took it for granted that I could get a perfect result ,but my score was only 140,10 points lower than my target. As a result,I failed to enter the best school.I felt greatly frustrated and my parents were disappointed .It was carelessness and arrogance pride that broke my dream.
　　Since then I have been working even harder and now I'm one of the best students in Senior Three. It was the biggest failure in my life that taught me a lesson.
