With the reform and opening up, our country has changed a lot in the past thirty years. And the great progress will be one of the most brilliant touches in our history.
The 2008 Olympic Games, which were held in Beijing, made every Chinese people wild with joy. On the evening of August 8th, 2008, the whole world witnessed the opening ceremony of our Beijing Olympics. We Chinese presented a visual feast which was beyond comparison to people from all over the world. When hearing the foreigners exclaimed excitedly “ I love China!”, I was filled with a sense of pride and thought that we deserved it. What”s more, we were glad to see our athletes perform so wonderfully and China ranked first on the medal list.
It is just one example of our country”s progress. And we will bear every great change in mind. Having experienced ups and downs, our country is fighting its way to becoming stronger and richer. As a Chinese, we should devote ourselves to its future construction.
