It was a rainy Tuesday. I had a fight with my best friend, and everything seemed gray. In art class, the teacher asked us to paint our feelings. While other kids used bright reds and sunny yellows, I only grabbed black, white and gray. My painting was a sad, lonely storm cloud. 易优作文网,https://www.euzw.net (线上、线下)
After school, as I stared at my painting, something magical happened. The colors in my picture began to wiggle. The gray cloud turned into a little old man with a drippy nose. “Help us!” he whispered. “The bright colors have run away because they are afraid of sadness.” Suddenly, I was pulled into my own painting. The world was made of pencil sketches and unfinished lines. I found Red hiding behind a broken crayon, shivering. “Why did you run?” I asked. “Because you only use gray when you are angry. We thought you didn’t want us,” sobbed Red.
I felt sorry. “I was just sad,” I explained. “But sadness is also a color. Without it, happiness wouldn’t feel so warm.” I picked up an imaginary paintbrush and started to add small dots of red to my gray cloud. The cloud smiled. Then I added a streak of yellow—like a tiny sun peeking through. One by one, the colors came back. They danced around me, turning my sad painting into a beautiful rainbow after a storm. When I opened my eyes, I was back in the classroom. My best friend was standing beside me. “I’m sorry,” we said together. And I knew that even sad colors can make something beautiful.
